Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all participant that are attending any workshop/webinar organised by ACE Learning Excellence and Innovation. Please ensure you have read and understand the terms and conditions. By registering for this online workshop/webinar, you hereby agree to these terms and conditions:

  1. There are no refunds of any portion of the registration fee once payment is made.
  2. If you’re sick / unwell to attend the workshop/webinar, a medical certificate (MC) is needed to transfer the registration fee to only the same type and immediate workshop/webinar. MC must be given on the workshop/webinar day or the day after the workshop/webinar. Transfers are allowed only once.
  3. If you are unable to attend the workshop/webinar for any reason, you may email us the name of a substitute to attend the workshop/webinar on your behalf 3 days before at ace.learningexcellence@gmail.com and with the email, we shall make such substitution and allow the substitute access to the workshop/webinar.
  4. If you are late for the online workshop/webinar or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you a refund or to delay the starting time of the workshop/webinar. Participants are not entitled to request a repeat of any missed workshop content.
  5. The zoom link to the online workshop/webinar is personal to you. You must not share your rights to access or provide its details to any other person.
  6. You are strictly prohibited from sharing your device (computer/laptop/tablet/mobile) with another person(s) during the workshop/webinar. Access is granted only to the registered participant on ONE (1) device. Participants who fail to abide by this term may be banned from participation in the future.
  7. The acts of recording the workshop/webinar is prohibited. The acts of live streaming and uploading the workshop/webinar video on any online platform, social media and YouTube are prohibited. ACE may, in its reasonable discretion and without liability or an obligation to refund, remove the participant who is in breach of consent/trust and ban his/her participation in the future.
  8. The use of any AI software, AI transcription software, or similar digital recording tools during the workshop/webinar is strictly prohibited. Any such use will result in immediate removal from the session, forfeiture of the registration fee (no refund will be provided), and will lead to a permanent ban from future ACE workshops/webinars.
  9. ACE is not responsible for any technical issues during the event, such as the installation and operating of Zoom, internet connectivity and hardware system.
  10. You accept and acknowledge that ACE cannot be held responsible for any delay or disruptions to your access to the online workshop/webinar as a result of: (a) The operation of the internet and the world wide web, including but not limited to viruses; (b) Any firewall restrictions that have been placed on your network or the computer you are using to access the online event; (c) Failures of telecommunications links and equipment; or (d) Updated browser issues.
  11. You also agree that ACE will host/organize the online workshop/webinar via Zoom as the platform. To ensure the event would run smoothly, (1) a specific link to enter the workshop/webinar will be given 1 day before the event, (2) waiting room will be enabled, (3) verification will be done, (4) meeting will be “locked” when the event begins. To re-enter, another verification is needed, (5) participant who fails to abide the terms and conditions, fails to identify him/herself or causes disruption to the event will be removed.
  12. ACE is not responsible for any data that you lose either as a result of accessing the online workshop/webinar or the materials; or during completion of the online workshop/webinar. It is your responsibility to ensure that you regularly save and back up all data which you hold on the computer from which you are accessing the online workshop/webinar and the materials; and all data that you are inputting when completing the online workshop/webinar.
  13. A certificate of participation will be issued to participants who attend at least 75% of the workshop/webinar hours. An administrative fee of RM 10 will be charged for any changes in the certificate of participation.
  14. There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the workshop/webinar. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the registration fee that you have paid to us. Our sole liability shall be limited to the price paid by you for such workshop/webinar.
